The Freeport Chamber of Commerce provides a wide variety of services to our members. We partner with you to help you succeed in your business and act as an advocate for the business community. We work to increase your businesses visibility through a variety of communications efforts and networking opporunities. The Chamber offers a variety of resources and services to help our members save money.

Advocacy

- Times may have changed, yet the ancient wisdom is as fresh as tomorrow. We need each other to succeed, perhaps more so than ever in this current, complicated business environment. The Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce stands with area business and industry to represent the interests of and to communicate important issues to our members.
- Communicate local, state and federal legislation and public policy to our members through legislative breakfasts, fax messages, The Business to Business Communicator newsletter and meetings
- Introduce local and state government officials at our special receptions
- Stephenson Country government directory which is regularly updated with current names of local officials and phone numbers of departments
- Monthly legislative updates of important issues through our newsletter
- Linkage to important issues through both the Illinois and US Chambers of Commerce
- Grass roots activities to represent local viewpoint to municipal, county, state and federal elected representatives.
As partners, we can create a successful business community. The Freeport Area Chamber of Commerce endeavors to enhance your voice to government. In addition, we strive to keep you aware of developments in Stephenson County.

Visibility
